Bette Cowles Friedlander
A graphic designer for the past twenty-six years, Bette has extensive experience in print design for a wide variety of for-profit and not-for-profit businesses. Bette's design sensibilities lead to clean, accessible layouts that effectively communicate the client's message. Bette is known for her ability to efficiently move projects from concept to completion. She is quick to develop initial concepts and proficient at then turning them into polished final designs ready for print production.
Bette holds a BA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts. Following a decade in magazine editorial design, she joined Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette where Bette produced a multitude of high-profile internal publications along with design efforts for DLJ?s marketing and advertising departments. For the past nine years, Bette has operated Cowles Graphic Design, serving the graphic design needs of scores of clients, many of whom are listed on our website.
